Job Overview:

We are looking for a capable Human Resources Officer to manage the HR function of the Society.

This role covers recruitment, onboarding, payroll, statutory compliance, and employee relations, helping to build, develop, and retain a capable and motivated workforce.

Job Responsibilities

Manage recruitment, payroll, compliance, and employee relations to support a motivated workforce.

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment - sourcing, screening, interviews, and onboarding.
  • Maintain employee records, attendance, leave, and personnel files.
  • Administer payroll, salary processing, and statutory deductions (PF, ESI, PT, TDS).
  • Ensure statutory HR compliance (labour laws, PF, ESI, gratuity, bonus).
  • Draft and maintain HR policies, the employee handbook, and SOPs.
  • Manage the performance appraisal cycle, KRAs, and reviews.
  • Handle employee grievances, relations, and disciplinary matters.
  • Organise training and development programmes.
  • Manage employee benefits, insurance, and welfare activities.
  • Prepare HR MIS and reports for management and support manpower planning.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with strong recruitment, payroll, and compliance expertise.

  • Graduate; Postgraduate in HR (MBA-HR / MSW / PGDHRM) preferred.
  • Knowledge of labour law and payroll compliance.
  • 3 to 7 years of experience in HR, preferably in banking, NBFC, co-operative, or services sector.
  • Recruitment, payroll, and statutory-compliance expertise.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Confidentiality and sound judgement.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office / HRMS tools.
